Title of volunteer role – Craft Club for kids

Role description – Prepare activity and run the activity with primary school children

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – 1 hour a week or every alternate week

Any specific skills or experience required – Interest in crafts, Working with children

One off volunteer taster/ drop-ins available – Yes

Training offered and skills development potential – Safeguarding and Prevent training, DBS check

Role description – Run a coding club or and digital lego club

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – 1 hour to 2 hours a month

Any specific skills or experience required – IT skills, Working with children

Training offered and skills development potential – Safeguarding and Prevent training, Flourish award, DBS check

The aim and activities of organisation:   Help North Walsham to grow as a deaf friendly place.  To encourage the learning and use of British Sign Language (BSL)

Role description – To encourage those with a hearing impairment

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – Whatever possible is welcomed

Any specific skills or experience required – Patience, and willingness to help and encourage

Training offered and skills development potential – BSL lessons are free with us, we offer some in NW Library
