Title of volunteer role – Sighted guides

Role description – To guide vision impaired folk on walks

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – No minimum time Flexible

Any specific skills or experience required – Good mobility All training provided

One off volunteer taster/ drop-ins available – Yes

Training offered and skills development potential – Vision impairment awareness training, all mandatory training, DBS check

Title of volunteer role – Driver

Role description – To drive vision impaired folk to activities organised by Vision Norfolk

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – No minimum time Flexible

Any specific skills or experience required – Car driver and/ or minibus driver. All training provided

One off volunteer taster/ drop-ins available – Yes

Training offered and skills development potential – Vision awareness training, all mandatory training, Midas training, DBS.

The aim and activities of organisation:   Enhance the visual attraction and appearance of the town centre through planting of flowers and shrubs in baskets, pots and beds.

 Title of volunteer role – Helper

Role description – To assist with planting and garden maintenance

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – 2 to 2.5 hours per week

Any specific skills or experience required – No specific skills required.  Just an interest in gardening to improve the town centre.

Training offered and skills development potential – Support / guidance provided

Role description – Prepare activity and run the activity with primary school children

Minimum time commitment & flexibility – 1 hour a week or every alternate week

Any specific skills or experience required – Interest in crafts, Working with children
