The Volunteer Showcase website and event is run by North Walsham Community Network (NWCN). NWCN aims to improve the wellbeing, health, and personal development of individuals in and around North Walsham.
We connect local people and organisations to build a stronger, healthier, and more connected community.
We create new initiatives in response to needs of members and the community.
We:
- Organise inclusive community events such as The Big Bash and the Volunteer Showcase
- Created the Community Information Portal: www.communitynetwork.northwalsham.org
- Share news and updates with our members
- Encourage collaboration and shared learning
- Promote and support volunteering in the local area
Our membership is open to voluntary and community sector organisations, social enterprises, local businesses offering services in the area, and individuals who live in the North Walsham area.
NWCN is entirely run by a volunteer Steering Group of local residents who share a passion for making a difference.
